Chinese Elm Three-Trunk Bonsai - LDB48
A characterful and well-established Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia) with an unusual three-trunk composition and a particularly attractive exposed root base.
The three trunks rise independently from the same planting, each with plenty of movement and mature character. Together they create an open, naturalistic composition rather than the more conventional single-trunk Chinese Elm.
The tree carries a substantial, well-developed canopy with plenty of established secondary branching and good scope for continued refinement. The exposed surface roots are a particularly strong feature and give the planting an aged, settled appearance.
Presented in a complementary green oval bonsai pot.
Reference: LDB48
Species: Chinese Elm – Ulmus parvifolia
Height: 49cm from top of pot
Width: 53cm
Style: Multi-trunk / three-trunk
An interesting established tree with bags of character and a structure that should only improve with further refinement.
