Itoigawa Juniper — Specimen Bonsai

A superb Itoigawa Juniper (Juniperus chinensis ‘Itoigawa’) with a powerful twisting trunk, attractive natural movement and contrasting live vein and deadwood.

The tree has been styled by Andy Mook, creating a mature, balanced structure with clearly defined foliage areas while retaining the character of the original trunk.

At approximately 44cm tall from the top of the pot and 32cm wide, this is a compact specimen with considerable presence. The dense, fine Itoigawa foliage is already well established, with extensive branching throughout giving the next owner an excellent basis for continued refinement.

The combination of the aged trunk, shari, strong movement and dense foliage makes this a tree that can continue developing into a very impressive specimen.
