Trident Maple with Significant Shari - LDB49

A substantial Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum) with a powerful trunk and significant shari running through the lower trunk, creating a striking contrast between the aged deadwood and living vein.

The trunk is the standout feature of this tree. The substantial shari and hollowed character give it a sense of age and individuality that is difficult to manufacture quickly. As the tree continues to develop and the canopy is refined, this feature should become increasingly prominent.

The tree carries plenty of healthy growth and established branching, providing considerable scope to tighten and refine the canopy while retaining its mature character.

Presented in a blue rectangular bonsai pot.
